Coastal Cruisers Mobile Detailing LLC — Effective Date: September 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between the Booking Party (defined in Section 1) and Coastal Cruisers Mobile Detailing LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Coastal Cruisers," "we," "us"). They apply to every quote, booking, and service. Please read them carefully, especially Section 7 (Pricing, Deposit, and Payment), Section 8 (Cancellations), Section 13 (Limitation of Liability), Section 14 (Indemnification), and Section 17 (Dispute Resolution and Arbitration), which affect your legal rights.
The person who books the service, checks the agreement box, or makes a payment (the "Booking Party") accepts these Terms. Acceptance occurs at the earliest of checking the box, making a payment, or allowing us to begin work. The Booking Party confirms that he or she is at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. Throughout these Terms, "you" and "your" refer to the Booking Party. We do not investigate or verify vehicle ownership, title, registration, lease or lien status, or the Booking Party's authority to book. We rely on the Booking Party's statement that he or she owns the vehicle or has the owner's permission to book the service and accept these Terms. Whether or not the Booking Party owns the vehicle, the Booking Party is personally responsible for every obligation under these Terms, including payment, location permissions and costs, cancellation fees, and indemnification. If an owner, co-owner, lessor, lienholder, family member, employer, or anyone else objects to or makes a claim about the service, the Booking Party is responsible for that claim as provided in Section 14.
The Booking Party states that he or she is authorized to use any card, account, or payment method provided, whether or not it is in his or her own name. If a payment method belongs to someone else, the Booking Party remains fully responsible for the price, for any amounts owed under these Terms, and for any dispute, reversal, or chargeback by the account holder, and we will treat the Booking Party as the responsible party. A person who pays on the Booking Party's behalf does not become a party to these Terms, and the Booking Party remains responsible. Use of a payment method without the account holder's authorization may be reported to the card issuer and to law enforcement as permitted by law. Refunds, where owed, are returned only to the original payment method.
We serve only locations within 30 miles of ZIP code 33584, measured in a straight line from the center of that ZIP code, as calculated by our booking system or mapping tool at the time of booking. Our measurement controls. You must provide an accurate and complete service address. We may decline or cancel any booking outside the service area and will refund any amount paid, unless the address was knowingly inaccurate or misleading, in which case Section 8 applies. We do not travel outside this area.
The services are those described in your booking confirmation. Results depend on the vehicle's age, condition, materials, and prior treatment. We choose the methods and products. We do not guarantee the removal of any stain, odor, scratch, swirl mark, oxidation, water spot, pet hair, or other defect. Please tell us before service about any allergies or sensitivities and any special instructions. We make no warranties other than those stated in these Terms, and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Before service you must tell us about any known condition that could affect the work, including existing damage, leaks or water intrusion, electrical or sensor problems, cracked, loose, or aftermarket parts, wraps, decals, vinyl or paint protection film, ceramic or other coatings, repainted or repaired panels, worn convertible tops or seals, and any mold, biohazard, sharp objects, or other hazard. We may photograph and record the vehicle's condition before work begins. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects or for conditions you did not disclose, including paint or clear coat defects, rust, chips, cracks, worn or failing trim, seals, upholstery, or electronics, and coatings, film, wraps, or decals that lift, peel, or fade because of their prior condition or installation. We are not responsible for water intrusion or electrical or sensor issues caused by a condition of the vehicle that existed before service.
You choose the service location and are solely responsible for making sure mobile detailing is permitted there. This includes obtaining, before the appointment, any permission required by a homeowners' association, condominium association, landlord, property manager, employer, business owner, or government authority, and complying with rules on vehicle washing, water use and runoff, noise, parking, and outside contractors. We may rely on your booking as confirmation that you have that permission. You must provide safe, lawful access to the vehicle and enough clear working space, and you must secure any pets. If any fine, citation, fee, tow, penalty, or other charge is assessed against us, our personnel, or our equipment because of the location or your failure to obtain permission, you will reimburse us in full within 10 days of our invoice, plus our reasonable costs of responding. You authorize us to charge the payment method on file for that amount after sending you written notice with an itemization. If we are found by a court or arbitrator to have violated this Section 5, we will reimburse your resulting documented direct costs on the same basis. We may decline, pause, or end service at any location we believe is unsafe, prohibited, or unsuitable, or if anyone interferes with the work or behaves in a threatening manner. If we do, Section 8 applies.
Before, during, and after photos and video are part of our service. You grant Coastal Cruisers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide permission to photograph and record the vehicle and to use those images on our website, social media, advertising, and marketing materials, with no compensation to you. We will not knowingly show license plates, VINs, faces, names, addresses, or other information that identifies you, and we may crop or blur images to that end. This section is your written consent to that use. To opt out of marketing use, email us before service begins. If you opt out after we have published an image, we will remove it from our website and our own social media accounts within a reasonable time, but we cannot recall copies already shared by others or printed. The images are our property. We may also keep and use photos and records to document vehicle condition and to resolve disputes, payment challenges, and insurance matters.
(a) Quotes. Quotes are based on the information you give us about the vehicle's size and condition and are plus applicable taxes.
(b) Deposit and balance. A deposit equal to 25% of the quoted price is due and will be charged at the time of booking, and is applied toward the total price. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The remaining 75% balance, plus applicable taxes and any approved add-ons or adjustments, is due on completion of the service, at Handover, by the payment method on file or another method we accept. The deposit is non-refundable except as provided in Section 8.
(c) Card-on-file authorization. By booking, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provided, without further approval, for (i) add-ons and price adjustments you approve at the appointment, (ii) location fines, fees, and costs under Section 5, (iii) fees under Section 8, and (iv) the remaining balance of the price and any other unpaid amount owed under these Terms. We will send you an itemized notice by email or text of any charge made under this paragraph.
(d) Adjustments. If the vehicle needs materially more time or work than described, such as heavy pet hair, mold, biohazard conditions, or unusual size, we will tell you before proceeding, and you may approve the adjusted price or cancel. If you cancel after we have begun, Section 8(b) applies. We may decline any job or end a job in progress if the vehicle or location is unsafe or the information provided was materially inaccurate, and Section 8(b) applies.
(e) Refunds. Any amount owed back to you under these Terms is returned to the original payment method within 10 business days after completion of the service or our determination of the cancellation, subject to your bank's processing time. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, refunds are not paid in cash.
(f) Payment disputes and chargebacks. If you dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank for a service that was performed, you agree to contact us first and give us the chance to resolve it. You authorize us to give your card issuer or bank these Terms, our photos, our records, and our communications with you as evidence. Costs arising from a chargeback or payment dispute are recoverable as provided in Section 17(h).
(g) Failed payments and collection. You will pay any returned or declined payment fee permitted by law. Unpaid amounts may be referred for collection, and collection costs are recoverable as provided in Section 17(h).
(h) Membership. The Cruiser Club is a month-to-month plan with no minimum term. It begins after a first full detail and renews each month, with one visit per month, until cancelled. You may cancel by giving at least 72 hours' notice before your next scheduled visit, after which no further visits are scheduled or charged. Section 8 applies to each monthly visit. If a scheduled month is missed, the membership ends, and a new full detail is required to rejoin.
(a) Notice and deposit refund. If you cancel or reschedule with at least 72 hours' notice, by email, text, phone, or through our booking system, you receive a full refund of the deposit paid or the appointment is moved to a new date at no charge, with the deposit carried over.
(b) Late cancellation, no-show, and walk-away fees. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours' notice, do not appear, or we arrive and the vehicle is unavailable, the location is inaccessible or prohibited, or we cannot reach you within 15 minutes, we keep the deposit (25% of the price) and no balance is owed. If you cancel, stop, or ask us to stop after we have begun work, or if we decline or end the job under Section 5 or Section 7(d), you owe the greater of 50% of the price or the value of the work completed, based on our reasonable assessment of the portion finished. The deposit is credited toward that amount, and we will invoice any remaining difference, or refund any excess of the amount paid under Section 7(e). You agree these amounts are a reasonable estimate of our lost time, blocked appointment, and preparation, which are difficult to calculate exactly, and are not a penalty. We may, in our discretion, waive or reduce them. If we cancel or fail to appear for a confirmed appointment without a reason described in Section 8(g) and without at least 24 hours' notice to you, we will refund the full amount paid.
(c) Emergencies. No fee under Section 8(b) applies if the Booking Party, or a member of the Booking Party's household or someone in his or her care, cannot keep or continue the appointment because of a genuine, unforeseen emergency. Examples include a medical emergency or unscheduled medical appointment, hospitalization, a pregnancy-related emergency, a school or childcare emergency requiring pickup, a death in the family, or a serious accident. You must notify us as soon as reasonably possible, even if that is less than 24 hours before the appointment. Your payment will be credited to a rescheduled appointment within 60 days or, if we cannot reschedule you, refunded.
(d) Documentation. We may ask for reasonable documentation of an emergency, and you must provide it within 7 days of our request. Acceptable documentation includes a school or childcare notice or call record, a healthcare provider's note or appointment record showing the date and time, or an incident or accident report. We need only enough to confirm that the event occurred and when. Please do not send diagnoses or medical details. If the documentation is not provided within 7 days, or does not show the emergency, the fee in Section 8(b) applies. Either party may present this documentation in any later dispute.
(e) Emergency during service. If a documented emergency forces you to end the service after it has begun, you will pay only for the work completed, based on our reasonable assessment of the portion finished, and no minimum fee applies to the unperformed portion. At your choice, we will reschedule the unperformed portion within 60 days or refund the balance under Section 7(e).
(f) Repeated cancellations. If you have three or more late cancellations, no-shows, or late reschedules within any 12-month period, we may decline future bookings. We may request documentation under Section 8(d) for each emergency claimed. We keep time-stamped records of bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling requests, and those records are our business records and may be used in any dispute.
(g) Weather and events beyond our control. We may cancel or reschedule because of lightning, heavy rain, high winds, other unsafe conditions, equipment failure, illness, emergency, or any event beyond our control. In that case we will offer to reschedule or refund the full amount paid, and we are not liable for the delay or cancellation.
(a) Definition. "Handover" means the moment we return the vehicle to your control, including returning any keys or fobs we held, or, if you are not present, the moment we send notice that the vehicle is ready together with completion photos.
(b) Notice of completion. When we finish, we will notify you in person, by text, or through our booking system that the vehicle is ready. Because we schedule jobs back to back, if you are present or nearby, you or your representative must inspect the vehicle promptly, and in any event within 15 minutes after our notice.
(c) If you are present. You will walk around the vehicle with us before Handover. Any condition, defect, or concern about the work that is visible on ordinary visual inspection at that time and is not raised before Handover is deemed accepted as to its visible appearance at that time. This paragraph does not apply to a condition that is not reasonably visible on ordinary inspection; those are handled under Section 11.
(d) If you are not present or do not inspect in time. We are not required to wait more than 15 minutes after our notice. We may leave after Handover as defined in Section 9(a). You have 24 hours from Handover to report any concern visible in the completion photos. A concern visible in those photos and not reported within that time is deemed accepted as to its visible appearance in the photos. This paragraph does not apply to a condition that is not reasonably visible in the completion photos; those are handled under Section 11.
(e) After Handover. We are not responsible for the vehicle, its contents, or the surrounding area after Handover, including damage, theft, weather, or the actions of other people.
(f) Limits of this section. This section is a condition for asserting a claim about a visible condition and does not waive any right that cannot be waived under Florida or federal law and does not shorten any time limit provided by law to bring a claim.
This section covers concerns about the quality of work performed within the original scope of service that are not resolved by Section 9 as a deemed-accepted visible condition, such as a spot that was missed or a step in the service that was not completed. If you are not satisfied on that basis, you must contact us within 24 hours after Handover, in writing and with photos, describing the concern. If the concern is valid, our remedy is to re-service the affected area or, if we cannot correct it, to refund the price of the affected portion of the service, at our option. Re-service is performed by appointment, scheduled within a reasonable time and by mutual agreement, at a location that meets the requirements of Section 5. We are not required to return the same day or on demand. Requests made after 24 hours are handled at our discretion. This section does not waive any right that cannot be waived by law.
If you believe we damaged your vehicle or property, or you have a concern about a condition that was not reasonably visible at Handover under Section 9(c) or 9(d), you must notify us in writing by email, with photos, within 24 hours after Handover. You must give us a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and the location and to review our photos and records before you have repairs performed, except for emergency repairs needed to prevent further damage. You have the burden of showing the damage was caused by our services. Damage reported after that 24-hour period is presumed not to have been caused by us unless you show otherwise. This section is a notice and inspection requirement and does not shorten any time limit provided by law to bring a claim. We are not responsible for damage that occurs after Handover. We may share claims and records with our insurer.
Please remove valuables, cash, documents, electronics, medication, tools, child seats, and other personal property before service. We are not responsible for items lost, damaged, or misplaced in the vehicle, except to the extent caused by our proven negligence or willful misconduct. You authorize us reasonable access to the vehicle, and to move the vehicle, only when reasonably necessary to perform the service. We may move items inside the vehicle as needed to perform the service and may discard items that are obviously trash.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY FLORIDA LAW: (A) FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR VEHICLE THAT IS PROVEN TO HAVE BEEN DIRECTLY CAUSED BY OUR SERVICES, OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE REASONABLE COST TO REPAIR THAT DAMAGE, NOT TO EXCEED $2,500; (B) FOR ANY OTHER CLAIM, OUR ENTIRE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE; AND (C) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, RENTAL COSTS, DIMINISHED VALUE, OR LOST INCOME. THESE LIMITS APPLY TO CLAIMS BASED ON NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coastal Cruisers and its members, employees, and contractors from any claim, fine, penalty, cost, or expense arising from (a) the service location or your failure to obtain required permission, (b) inaccurate information or undisclosed conditions concerning the vehicle, (c) your breach of these Terms, or (d) any claim by an owner, lienholder, account holder, or other person where you lacked authority to book the service, authorize the work, or use the payment method. This does not apply to the extent a loss is caused by our gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Attorney's fees and costs connected to any claim under this section are recoverable as provided in Section 17(h).
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to post honest reviews or truthful statements about our services, and we will not require you to remove an honest review. You agree not to post or share personal information about our staff, including home addresses, personal phone numbers, family information, or images of them taken without their consent, and not to harass, threaten, or send unlawful communications directed at our staff. We may use the dispute tools of any review platform to report content that violates that platform's rules, and we reserve all rights under applicable law regarding statements that are false or unlawful.
By booking, you consent to receive service-related calls, texts, and emails at the contact information you provide, such as confirmations, reminders, completion notices, and payment notices. Message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP to opt out of texts. We will not send marketing texts without your separate consent. You agree that electronic records, electronic acceptance of these Terms, and our time-stamped booking, payment, and communication records are valid and enforceable and may be used as evidence.
(a) Notice first. Before starting any arbitration or court case, you must send us a written notice by email describing the dispute and what you want, and we will both work in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.
(b) Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services that is not resolved under paragraph (a) will be decided by binding arbitration before a single neutral arbitrator, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and governed by the Florida Arbitration Code (Chapter 682, Florida Statutes) or the Federal Arbitration Act as applicable. Fees will be allocated as those rules provide. The hearing will take place in Hillsborough County, Florida, or by video, telephone, or written submissions. The award is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.
(c) Evidence. In any arbitration or court proceeding, each party may present its records and the documentation described in these Terms, including booking, payment, and communication records, photos, and emergency documentation under Section 8(d).
(d) Small claims. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a Florida small claims court with proper jurisdiction.
(e) No class actions. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action. A court, not the arbitrator, decides whether this waiver is enforceable. If it is found unenforceable as to a claim, that claim will proceed in court, not arbitration.
(f) Scope. The arbitrator decides questions about the scope and validity of this arbitration agreement, except as stated in paragraph (e).
(g) Law, venue, and jury waiver. Florida law governs these Terms. Any court proceeding permitted by this section, including enforcing an award, will be in Hillsborough County, Florida, to the extent allowed by law, and each party waives trial by jury in any court proceeding.
(h) Fees. The prevailing party in any arbitration or court proceeding under these Terms, including any claim referenced in Sections 5, 7, or 14, may recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs from the non-prevailing party to the extent permitted by law. This right applies equally to you and to us.
These Terms and your booking confirmation are the entire agreement between us, and if they conflict, these Terms control. We may update these Terms, and the version in effect when you book applies to that service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed and the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms, and we may assign them to a successor. These Terms create no rights for third parties. Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, and 17 survive completion of the service. Nothing in these Terms waives any right that cannot be waived under Florida or federal law.
We collect the information you give us when booking, such as your name, phone number, email, service address, and vehicle details, and use it to schedule and perform services, communicate with you, process payment, and resolve disputes. Payments are handled by a third-party processor, and we do not store full card numbers. We do not sell your personal information. Our website may use cookies for basic function and analytics.
